Privacy policy

Introduction

Growthology respects the information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect through our website, why we collect it, and how you can contact us about your information.

Information we collect

When you contact us or start a project enquiry, we collect the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, email address, phone number, business name, and details about your project.

We may also receive basic technical information required to operate and protect the website, along with information about how you reached us, such as referral URLs or campaign parameters stored in your browser during the visit.

How we use information

We use this information to respond to enquiries, understand your project, communicate with you, and provide services you've asked us about.

We also use technical information where necessary to maintain the website, prevent misuse, and understand where enquiries originate.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to a marketing list without asking.

Text messages

If you opt in on our website forms, Growthology may send a few automated text messages after you submit, such as confirmations and follow-ups about that enquiry. Message frequency is low. Message and data rates may apply. This is not a marketing list.

Consent is optional and collected through a separate checkbox that is unchecked by default. Providing a phone number without checking that box does not enrol you in text messages.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. You may also contact us at the email below to update your preferences.

Text messages are delivered using Twilio, a messaging service provider. Twilio processes message delivery on our behalf. That processing is not a sale of your number for marketing.

Services and providers

We use service providers to operate our website and business systems, including hosting, email, SMS delivery (Twilio), analytics (Google Analytics 4), and our customer relationship management tools (including Growthology's internal G/OS intake for enquiries). Information may be processed by these providers as required to deliver their services.

Some service providers may process information outside Canada, where different privacy laws may apply. We only share what is needed for them to provide their services.

Analytics and browser storage

The website may use browser storage (such as session storage) to remember how you reached us during a visit, for example campaign or referral details attached to an enquiry. That attribution storage is separate from analytics cookies and is used to understand where an enquiry came from when you contact us.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site use, such as pages viewed and whether an enquiry form was completed successfully (the generate_lead event). Google may process this information in Canada or other countries. IP addresses are anonymized where supported.

You can limit or block analytics cookies through your browser settings or common opt-out tools. Doing so does not affect your ability to use the website or send an enquiry.

Retention and protection

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy or to meet applicable obligations. We take reasonable measures to protect information against unauthorized access, use and disclosure.

Your choices

You can contact us to ask about the personal information we hold, request corrections, or discuss the withdrawal of consent, subject to applicable legal requirements.

For text messages, reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help, in addition to contacting us by email.
